The North Carolina Forestry Service has implemented a statewide burning ban, effective beginning at 8:00 AM on March 21, 2025. In conjunction with this, the Catawba County Fire Marshal's Office is also enacting a burn ban. This ban applies to all outdoor burning activities, with the exception of cooking grills and cooking smokers.
